The team delivered a designed, installed and commissioned tertiary treatment plant to remove endocrine disruptors, utilising granulated activated carbon (gac) in adsorbed vessels.

This project was won competitively through value management and engineering, which delivered a radically modified site layout whilst maintaining the same overall process.  The handling and placement of the gac was carefully considered, with detailed methodology and planning.

Great Crested Newts were present on the site, so environmental impact mitigation measures were taken at this sensitive location.
